| Amir to appear at Flamingo in SR |
Writers need to be able to discuss their work in verbal shorthand with agents, bookstores, reviewers, readers and the media, as well as with friends and family.
Inspiration-to-Creation coach Nina Amir will show writers how to summarize their work into a pithy statement that can be used for query letters, book jacket covers, Web page summations, personal interactions, and much more. Amir appears on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 3-5 p.m. at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Admission is $5 for members, $8 for nonmembers. Sponsored by Redwood Writers.
