RP Arts and Music Festival set for Aug. 25

The City of Rohnert Park Community Services is presenting the second annual Arts and Music Festival at the Community Center Complex, 5401 Snyder Lane on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 11a.m.-6 p.m.  Admission is free! 

The event will be held outside in the courtyard square for the food, arts and crafts vendors and in the grass area for the live music.  There will be a wide variety of food choices provided by Mary’s Pizza Shack, Dad and Son’s BBQ, The Yum Yum Trolley, Uncle Bill’s Gourmet Corn Dogs and El Torito restaurant.  There also will be kettle corn, Hawaiian shaved ice, root beer floats, ice cream cones, all natural popsicles and ice cream sandwiches.

More than 60 artists and crafters will be offering unique kind items for sale.  The lineup of musical performers includes The Moonlighters, The Mad Maggies, The Eight Belles, John Courage and the Great Plains, Hand Me Down and Midnight Sun Massive.

There will be a children’s play area, with jump houses, pets to ride, a street painter, face painting and balloon animals.  Wine and beer will be available for adults as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
